On the 1st of each month, everyone gets an email nudge to share a monthly recap or standout moment and answer an optional shared prompt. There is no layout software to learn and no blank grid to fight with. Whether you are building a personal book in one sitting, adding to it as your year happens, or sharing a monthly recap in a group book, the pages lay themselves out automatically:
- Photos. Drop in the ones that actually meant something, not your whole camera roll. Photos group into memories and sort into months automatically.
- Words & prompts. Write a line or a full page. Every memory and monthly reflection comes with starter questions, and in a personal book you can generate tailored follow-up questions based on what you wrote to help you go deeper.
- Voice. Record a thought out loud when typing feels like too much. We transcribe it into text for your page.
- Monthly group prompts. In a group book, every month also includes an optional shared question for the whole circle to answer, even if someone had a quiet month with no photos.

- Book signing link or memory signing link. In a personal book, share one book signing link so friends can flip through and sign all your visible memories, or share a memory signing link for one specific occasion (with built-in QR codes for signing in person).
- Private pages stay private. Hide any personal reflection page or memory from signers with one click; it still prints in your hardcover, and signers only ever see what you leave visible.
- Group memories for shared photos. Turn on "Make this a group memory" on any shared trip or event in a personal book so friends can read each other's notes and upload their own photos from their phones.
- Monthly group reveals. In a group book for friends or family, everyone's monthly recaps stay private for a week and then reveal all at once around the 8th so the whole group can read and sign each other's pages.
- Handwriting, notes & photo stickers. Signers can draw in their own handwriting, write or record a note, and cut out custom photo stickers directly onto the page.
Pages that hold your signers' notes are included for free and do not count against your 120 included creator pages.
Three to twelve months, bound in hardcover
Every yeerbook covers a 3-to-12-month window of your choice. When your chapter is complete, your pages are compiled and printed as a premium hardcover. Up to 120 creator pages are included, with extra pages available if a busy year needs more room. Worldwide shipping is built into the price, and in a group book any member can also order a printed copy of their own.

Private by design
Personal books are end-to-end encrypted in your browser the moment you save them, using keys derived from your password, so not even we can read your memories by default. Group books are also encrypted before storage, using a shared key protected on our servers so invited friends and family can open and read the book from their personal link without needing a password.
